Engineering an Industrial Odyssey
Originally born on the Rhône, Hardboat has evolved into one of Lyon’s premier indoor Hardcore and Uptempo festivals. For their 2025 edition, we were commissioned to oversee the Light Design, LED Mapping, and Creative Direction to bridge the gap between their nautical roots and a massive warehouse scale.
We developed two distinct immersive environments:

The Abyss: A sub-aquatic stage where LED screens functioned as “pressure-resistant portals” into a dark, deep-sea world.

The Steam Engine: A high-octane Steampunk vessel, blending industrial machinery with rhythmic light synchronization. From custom Intro sequences to live visual performance, every element was engineered to match the relentless BPM of the Hardcore scene.
